Persons aged 18 years or above, engaged in skilled or artisanal work in family-centred traditional businesses in the unorganized sector, as self-employed persons are eligible for assistance through Vishwakarma Scheme. There are 18 trades are part of the scheme. They are Carpenter, Boat Maker, Armourer, Blacksmith, Hammer and Tool Kit Maker, Locksmith, Goldsmith (Sonar), Potter, Sculptor (Stone Carver), Stone Breaker, Cobbler/Shoe Maker, Mason (Rajmistry), Basket/Mat Maker. /Broom Maker/Coir Weaver, Doll Making (Traditional), Barber, Garland Maker (Malakar), Dhobi, Tailor (Tailor), Fishing Net Making.

Recognition: PM Vishwakarma provides the artisans with a certificate and ID while providing them with expertise in their respective crafts.
Toolkit Incentive: In this scheme, after you complete your training, you will get a special bonus of Rs. 15,000 thousand kit will be provided to you.
Basic Training: People joining this scheme will get Rs. 500/day and 5-7 days basic skill training with stipend. In this scheme, comprehensive training and various skills related to modern tools, digital, financial skills, entrepreneurship, credit support, branding, marketing techniques etc. are imparted. Advanced Training: After your basic training under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get Rs. 500/day stipend will provide advanced skill training for 15 days. Through advanced training in this scheme you will be useful in other organizations or in building your own organization.Credit support: After you complete the basic skill training under this scheme, the artisans can avail 18 months repayment period of Rs. You will be eligible for unsecured loans up to 1 lakh. Beneficiaries who are skilled in maintaining a standard loan account, doing digital transactions or having advanced skill training up to Rs. Second installment loans up to 2 lakhs can be availed. However, they will next pay Rs. 2 lakh before accessing the initial Rs. 1 lakh loan has to be repaid.
Marketing Assistance: Assists in quality assurance, branding, e-commerce, GEM platform onboarding, advertising, publicity to expand artists’ market reach. It also onboards the beneficiaries into the Udyam Assist platform as entrepreneurs in the MSME ecosystem.
