The state government is inviting applications for a program to stand by the families of framers. In Telangana state, each farmer already has a life insurance benefit of Rs.5 lakh. Many people have already joined this scheme.
Rythu Bima Pathakam: But those who have purchased land recently may not get the benefits of this scheme until the new pass book is issued. Also those who inherited lands may not have this benefit. This means that those who have got new pass books may not be included in Rythu Bima Scheme.
Revanth reddy’s government invites applications from such. Applications are invited from new Pattadar pass book holders by 28 July 2024. Hence such people can apply now for the scheme for farmer insurance.

The state government will pay the life insurance premium to each eligible farmer. So it can be said that farmers get insurance free of cost.
In case of accidental death of farmers enrolled in this scheme Rs. 5 lakh sum insured. This money is paid to the farmer’s family. Nominee will get money within 10 days. From 18 years of age to young farmers up to 59 years of age, farmers can join this scheme.
